Activity  -Rylan : We did an activity to learn more about our club mates. The directions were to put your shoe in the middle, grab someone else’s shoe, then learn about your partner and share out.

 

Presentation:  Wyatt: Wyatt talked about how to make the perfect peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Old Business - Isaiah

  • – no progress. Tabled until further notice

  • Membership sign ups – Members need to sign up and pay the $20.00 membership fee to Christian or Anne.  Will be turning roster in this month so please contact Anne at 647-6173 if you have not paid yet

  • CPR class – This Friday – 6:00 p.m.  Sign up sheet going around – Club will pay for members. Adults pay for their own approximately $25-$35.  Will be held at fire station on Golder Ranch Dr.

 

New Business

  • Do we want to plan a Christmas party? Yes

  • When? December meeting

  • What to bring- white elephant gift (gift under $10), some kind of dessert (no pineapple, peanuts, if someone could bring no gluten)

 

  • Project reports

  • Horse – Ms. Brenda: Project books, 4H team grooming, 4H horse camp, Meet with Brenda to get winter packets in ASAP, Nov. 19th Prepoint show, Must be qualified to participate in sorting

  • Cavy – Ms. Sarah: Emily and Katy participated in state and Nationals.

  • Swine, lamb and rabbit – Makayla and Anthony: Must have QA for all market projects. check last months notes for dates

    • need seasonal pass for pigs takes 6-8 weeks keep documentation . Can find the form at agriculture.az.gov/seasonal-passes

    • Ron Garrigan pig sale Dec. 17th. Preview @10am lunch @11:30 sale @12:30- pigs will be auctioned off in small pens. If new stay between $250 and $300

    • Brittany Scott has pigs for sale $300

    • Tracey Nielson

    • If you would like to buy your pig from anyone else that is not listed, contact Makayla or Anthony to avoid getting a pig with the stress gene

    • Makayla can go help you findgood pig if you don’t want to go to Garrigan

    • Jan 8th 10-12 pig tagging at the U of A feed lot Makayla must sigh your paperwork

    • If interested in going to a camp, let Makayla know

    • Lamb meeting happened Nov. 13th

    • Next lamb meetingNov 27th 3:30-5

    • Tag in dates Dec 3rd and Dec 11th at the U of A agricultural center @Roger and Campbell

    • Need to bring self inspection, seasonal pass, and breeder paperworkto tagging

    • 6-8 weeks to get seasonal pass- bring receipt or proof you’ve paid

    • Let Makayla know if you want to be a buckle sponsor

    • Need ownership papers, should be in the premium book

  • Dairy – Mr. Skip: Meeting at Gilas house date TBD for paperwork.

    • Gila showed at state and did very well

    • New baby bull that is going to Isabel

  • Gardening – Ms. Claire: No new news

  • Shooting sports/Archery – Mr. David:

    • Not able to shoot yet- still waiting for volunteer paperwork to go through

  • Poultry – Ms. Anne:

    • Going to hold off on this project due to lack of interest

  • Photography – Brandon: Meet after meeting
