March’s Minutes-Kylie summarizes: We discussed March Madness volunteer opportunity, parking passes/wristbands, shavings, dates for the parking lot cleanup and work days, nominations, and attendance

-Elections-everyone passed! (code of conduct needs to be signed)

 

-Work Day- April 13th required to attend if you have not already attended another workday; will receive wristbands there, starts at 9 am

 

-Parking Lot Clean Up- April 26th everyone expected to participate if possible, starts at 7, meet at barn parking lot, extra vehicle will be there for trash

 

Parking Passes/Wristbands

 

Dress Code & Conduct at Fair-find on 4-H website, don’t wear crop tops, tank tops etc.  Look professional, conduct yourself accordingly for your club.

 

Our club is going to buy 13 bags of shavings total. Around $120

 

-Buckle Donations-donating $500 total, to steer and lamb

 

-End of the Year Party-will have it after May 13th meeting, starting meeting at 6, so we will have more time afterwards, bring food for the potluck!

 

Project Reports:

 

-Swine- Check In 4/22  4am-8am

• Show 4/23  5pm and 4/24 5pm

• Have proof of clinic or show, form for show to fill out signed by Makayla

• Medical logs need to be filled out if you gave medication to animal

• READ RULES ON PROJECTS IN PREMIUM BOOK

 

 

-Dairy Cattle-

• Must have seasonal pass to check in

• Check in is 9-12 and 6-8 on Monday, April 22

• Show is 11am on April 24

• Check out 28th 6pm or later, animals need to stay til 6

• Very excited to show the new county-wide video at the fair this year

 

-Rabbit- Check in 4/18  5pm-8pm

• Show 4/19  9am and 4/20 following open show

• Breed show 4/20

• Check out 4/21   5pm

 

 

-Dog- Obedience 4/18   9am

• Showmanship 4/19  checkin 4

• Agility the next Friday 8am

-Goat- Check in 4/22  7am-9am

             Show 4/23  9am

​

-Lamb-Check in 4/22  4am-8am

             Show 4/24  9am

 

-Shooting Sports-posters check in at old pueblo hall, 9am

   In June will meet once or twice a month, will vote on it, practice for nationals

​

-Archery-fair shoot this Sunday the 14th

  May 3rd summer shoots, every other weekend

 

 

-Steer- Check in 4/22  4-8pm

            Show 4/23  10am
