Presentation:  Kylie- Americas National symbols- motto adopted in 1956- National flower is the rose- National anthem is the Star Spangled Banner- National bird is the bald eagle- Nations best known symbol is the flag!- many symbols of freedom- God Bless America!

Old Business – Isaiah

  • T-Shirt Order- Ms. Sarah has volunteered to take orders for club t-shirts.  Last year, the t-shirts were donated by Cactus RV.  If they do not want to donate t-shirts this year, then members will have to pay for them.  Make sure you put your name and shirt size on the sign up sheet.  Please indicate if you want a child’s, adult, and lady’s t-shirt.

Fair

  • Fair wrist band and Trailer reservation info (Everybody returns packet at same time and the CLUB sends it off)

    • Each Family should be getting a packet in the mail soon.  We need to send the reservations and wrist band info in together as a group.  

Project reports

  • Horse – Ms. Brenda:

    • Sorting a couple Sundays ago-

    • another sorting practice on Sunday at 11-

    • sorting WILL NOT be at fair this year.

    • Isabel had a cowboy mounted shooting this week!

    • Rhiannon attended a huge barrel racing event!

  • Cavy – Ms. Sarah: pre-fair March 4th- meeting at the end of the month (talk to Ms. Sarah)

  • Swine, goat. lamb and rabbit – Makayla and Anthony (Swine):

    • Swine

      • show this Saturday (go online to check times)

      • Swine meeting Sun Feb 26th @Land lab      

      • Some members attended the show on Feb 4th and reported their experiences.

    • Moss family is doing a show for Dairy on March 4th in Phoenix

  • Gardening – Ms. Claire: N/A

  • Shooting sports/Archery – Mr. David:

    • 25th Pinal County invitational ($12),

    • Meeting on the 26th at Naranja at 10am

    • Work on posters for the fair. Criteria was passed out to project members at the meeting

    • 22 rounds are available in bulk. Need to know if you're interested in this by the 26th.
