Activity  -Hunting survival guide

 

Old Business -

  • Membership signups

  • It looks like most everyone has updated their profile on 4honline. Thank you. If you have not, please do so this week and submit your payment tonight if possible.

 

New Business

 

  • Project reports

  • Horse – Ms. Staggs

  • Sorting – Winter points is on December 9 at Phil’s house

  • Gymkhana/Roping winter points is on December 10th at Wentz point arena

  • Rhiannon and Adam went to State 4h horse show in Queen Creek on November 4. Rhiannon placed in all events she competed in.  Adam placed in Goat tying and took 6th in Sorting with partner Sierra and won the event with his partner AJ.  He won a belt buckle.

  • Cavy – Ms. heather

  • Rabbit – fur and feather Emily won reserve showman

  • Got rabbits 2 -3 weeks ago. 

  • Next meeting Saturday, November 18th at Heather’s house

  • December 2 – Estes Show

  • Cavy - won reserve Jr. showman

  • Next Sunday 19th At 11:30 at Heather’s house.

  • Swine, goat, lamb, and rabbit – Makayla and Anthony

  • Lamb meeting Nov. 26th @ Bell’s House 2:30 pm

  • Garrigan’s Pig Sale Dec. 9th maybe.

  • Ed Conrad has pigs

  • Wilcox feed

  • Nasser Queen Creek pigs $400

  • Saila Show in Casa Grande December 9 & 10.

  • Lamb Tag in is December 2nd. U of A campus Roger and Campbell

 

  • Dairy – Mr. Skip (Mr. John)

  • Paperwork needs to be in early. Due date is January 1.

  • Still waiting for project kick off meeting.

  • Fair premium book has requirements for ID and entry. 

 

  • Shooting sports/Archery - Mr. David, Small bore – Tom

  • Tom Decker- official small bore executive

  • Meeting @ 7:00 am on Saturday

  • Prone Mat for small mat for lying on

  • Shoot on November 25th

  • Poster Ideas due on November 25th

  • T-shirt ideas bring to Saturday’s meeting.

 

 

 

  • Service Projects  

  • Isaiah – We need to come up with a couple projects, take a minute and write down any ideas real quick: Planting flowers at The Golder Ranch Fire station, Visiting Senior citizens on Christmas, Tractor Supply, Donating to Women’s Shelter, making cards for seniors in a home.

  • Voted on collecting items for women’s homeless shelter. Bring to next meeting.

  • Makayla – Jim Click tickets through the executive council – Due tonight.

  • Isaiah – STEM night at school in Marana night from 5-7

 

  • Isaiah - Calendar for the year – Project leaders – please submit dates of important events for the next year so they can be added to the calendar.

 

  • Social Media/Website –

  • Open Discussion – questions, etc.

  • Need to think about fundraisers

  • Perhaps a garage sale in spring.

  • 5K in winter  break

  • Doing a gift exchange next meeting?

  • White elephant gift under $10.00.  Bring food to share at next meeting
